Join our Family - Waitlist Pool

Why join the waitlist? It's free to join our waitlist and is your first step towards securing a spot. Prospective families are invited to submit an application and join our waitlist pool. The waitlist pool does not operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, so it is to your advantage to submit an application as soon as you are interested. As spaces become available, all applications on file are reviewed and families are contacted.

*Please note that you are only officially on the list after you fill out the online link provided*

A Note on Waitlist Placement

Please be aware that families will be removed from the waitlist: If they are offered a program space via email and you did or didn't accept the available space. Please reapply if you would like to remain on the waitlist for future availability.

Our Communication App

At the start of every child’s journey at The Whole Child, we create a profile for your child on our online learning journal system, which we use to record their individual developments and achievements. These are noted and shared with you and your child and create their own ‘journey’. These recordings can come at any given time and from a variety of sources such as: observations, spontaneous ‘wow’ moment notes, your parental voice, and the voice of the child themselves. This is then used as a monitoring and assessment tool which enables our early years educators to provide ‘next steps’ for your child and informs our planning of activities and the environments and experiences your child will have next. You will also find a calendar for any days your child is not attending and your invoices.

The Whole Child Early Learning Centre Ltd has been approved to participate in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) from April 1st, 2025 to March 31st 2026 in order to reduce parent fees.

Parent fee reduction amounts that The Whole Child will receive are prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Child Care and are based on the type of child care provided. The maximum amount(s) The Whole Child will receive to reduce parent fees, per child, are listed below:

up to $900/month – Group infant/toddler (under 36 months) care

up to $545/month – Group care for 3 years to Kindergarten

The Whole Child does increase tuition annually, which is first approved by the Ministry of Education and Child Care as we are committed to increase wages for Direct Care Staff.

*Parents do not apply for this as it is a contract with the Centre, not individual families.
