Visionary

Miss Judy, ECE/IT/SN

Miss Judy is an Early Childhood, Infant/Toddler, and Special Needs Educator who graduated with her Diploma. She is the heartbeat of the Centre with a unique vision that is different from any other Centre’s in town. She has been an Educator for over 34 years and has worn many different hats in our Community. Miss Judy has been everything from a Nanny, Home Childcare Provider, StrongStart Educator, Ready-Set-Learn Facilitator, Family Centre Manager, Aboriginal Infant Development Consultant, Aboriginal Support Child Development Consultant, she was also contracted by Success by Six to develop what is known as the 3 year old screening program in Quesnel and so much more during her career as an Educator. Her family means everything to her and she has recently started to travel with her daughters to explore the world.

Miss Erica, RECE/IT/SN

Miss Erica is an Early Childhood, Infant/Toddler, and Special Needs Educator who graduated with her Diploma. She has always known she wanted to work with children as her mom had a Home Childcare Centre. Miss Erica would often lead circle time as a young child and always loved being with other children as both a child and adult. She brings a passion to the Centre and loves pedagogical narrations and is in awe of the children and their imagination as they explore activities! Miss Erica was in French Immersion in elementary and highschool so she enjoys bringing a little bit of French to the children and they absolutely love it! In her spare time Miss Erica loves reading, crocheting, baking and being with her family and 2 dogs Autumn and Leo.

Pedagogical Leader

Miss Caity, ECE/IT

Miss Caity is an Early Childhood, Infant/Toddler Educator who recently graduated from the College of New Caledonia. She is inspired by children’s wonder and curiosity for the world and it brings her joy everyday. In her free time, Miss Caity enjoys spending time outside through activities such as skiing, hiking, dirt biking, and swimming.

Miss Erin, ECE/IT

Miss Erin is an Early Childhood, Infant/Toddler Educator who also works full time as a Youth Care Worker for the School District. Between working in childcare and with the School District, Miss Erin has over 35 years of experience. Miss Erin truly enjoys her career working with children and feels a sense of fulfilment from the connections that she has made. You can find her in the afternoons at TWC, or when she is here full time during the summer. Miss Erin appreciates spending quality time with her three daughters in her free time.

Child Development Practitioner

Miss Brooke, ECE

Miss Brooke is an Early Childhood Educator who graduated from the College of the Rockies. At an early age, Miss Brooke always knew that she wanted to work with children. She enjoys being a part of and encouraging personal growth in each child, while building a connection with them. In her free time, Miss Brooke loves to spend time with her family and close friends. You can also find her expressing her creative side through painting or dancing.

Child Development Practitioner

Miss Agnieszka, ECE

Miss Agnieszka is an Early Childhood Educator who also has Montessori training and experience. She moved to Canada in 2002 and began working in childcare in the following year. Miss Agnieszka believes that teaching, guiding, and raising children is one of the most important roles, not only with her own children but also while working in childcare. Working with children is truly her passion and she appreciates how honest children are. Miss Agnieszka loves to garden and takes pride in using the produce grown in her own backyard.

Miss Kim, ECE

Miss Kim is an Early Childhood Educator who graduated from Lethbridge College. Miss Kim is the mom of 3 and when she is not at the Centre her world revolves around her family. She is passionate working especially with toddlers.

Meet our Assistants, each one has a goal of completing their Early Childhood Education and we are are excited to help them do it!

Assistant

Miss Dayna, ECEA

Miss Dayna is an Early Childhood Educator Assistant who is working towards her ECE certification. Miss Dayna was inspired by her mother who worked with children, and knew that she wanted to work in such a fulfilling career as well. She appreciates being able to observe children as they develop their own special qualities and skills and become their own unique person. Miss Dayna enjoys exploring new places with her own family and spending as much time outside as they can. When Miss Dayna has some free time, she also likes to read a good book.

Assistant

Miss Lianne, ECEA

Miss Lianne is an Early Childhood Educator Assistant who is working towards her ECE certification. Children bring her so much joy and there is never a day that they do not put a smile on her face. Miss Lianne loves to observe what children can create when exploring in nature, and is often amazed by their sense of imagination. Some of Miss Lianne’s favourite activities are spent crafting and painting at home. She is also very talented at cleaning and loves to spread some magic wherever she goes!

Administration Assistant

Miss Emmi, ECEA/HR

Miss Emmi spends her time helping her mom (Miss Judy) on the admin side while attending UNBC to receive her Bachelors of Commerce in Human Resource Management. In her space time she enjoys being with her Cavalier Millie as they embark into training to participate in agility. When Miss Emmi is in town the children are always so excited to see her as she has a genuine connection with both children and dogs.
